NABC 2018 Literary Seminar

In many ways, culture has been and will continue to be the longest and yet the most wonderful bridge between peoples of same milieu separated by enormous physical distances. Bengalis moved from the land of Ganga, Padma, Sundarban, Bay of Bengal, and the Himalayas, but wherever they moved to they brought with them their indomitable quest and love for Bengali culture. North American Bengali Conference (NABC) is probably the most dazzling testament to that fact. While literature arguably is the lifeline of Bengali culture, literary seminar has always been the jewel in the crown of all the NABCs prior, and 2018 is no exception.

A carefully selected list of guest authors (international and domestic) has been put together. The list covers various forms of literature including prose, poetry, essays, dramas, etc. While plans for two events one each on Saturday and Sunday June 30 and July 1st,) have been completed and guest authors confirmed, a third event remains a possibility.
